Warning is a 2013 Hindi adventure thriller 3D film directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Anubhav Sinha and Jitendra Jain.[1] The film was released on 27 September 2013 and features Madhurima Tuli, Santosh Barmola, Suzana Rodrigues and Manjari Fadnis as main characters.[2]

The film begins with a guy reminiscing about school friends and their glorious young days. He uses a social networking site to reach out to his friends. They all connect after many years and pick back the straws of their life in this reunion.
With chiseled body and ravishing looks, the young guns here remain oblivious to the fact that it is acting that will pull through the film eventually. Indeed there is very little that skin show can do besides attracting those who come in looking for sleaze!
The film is a remake of Hollywood film Open Water 2. The story is exciting and offers edge-of-the-seat thrills and chills. On the whole, Warning has the merits to do well at the ticket windows but it will need a sustained publicity campaign to increase awareness among the public. Without a renewed promotional campaign, the film will go largely unnoticed in spite of merits. While its poor initial is a dampener, its 3D effects and positive mouth publicity are the plus points. Opening in the cinemas was frighteningly poor everywhere.
Shot in its completion with 3 dimensional cameras in under 41 days, the film hopes to take audiences on a novel cinematic experience. The survival franchise, WARNING will see an all new cast consisting, Santosh Barmola, Suzana Rodrigues, Varun Sharma (of Fukrey fame), Manjari Fadnis, Jitin Gulati, Sumit Suri & Madhurima Tuli.

Everyone connected with the film does a lazy, if not altogether a lousy job. One does like to encourage new talent and one would like to give these newcomers the benefit of the doubt. There is very little plot, only a whole lot of deep water to sink one's teeth and other body parts in. The intended tension gets suffocating after 20 minutes.
The plot of Warning is lifted straight from the Hollywood film Open Sea 2 and despite knowing what he had to make, the director ends up with an immature film. A group of friends reunite and meet on a luxury yacht to sail to the middle of a beautiful ocean in Fiji. Tanveer, who pretends to own the yacht, is the host. He has a mind of his own and decides to head out somewhere in the middle of the sea and so we have some boys, girls, a baby and a dog on the yacht, far away from civilization and any trace of a mobile network.One by one they decide to go for a swim but guess what? They forget to lower the ladder, which is the only way to get back on the yacht. Even Tanveer who has been maintaining the yacht doesnt bother checking the most important thing. One mistake and all of them are trapped in the midst of an ocean except the dog and the little child. After all of them indulge in a big of blame game while floating in sea, everyone realizes the gravity of the situation. At one point they decide to get the dog excited thinking that he might press the red button which may lower the ladder but within minutes the dog is in the water, swimming right next to them! The yacht is too high for them to get back up. Frustrated and angry, they come up with bizarre ideas. They even strip naked and use their swim suits to make a rope but fail to climb up. Now that they have drifted further. Obviously, there are sharks around them to add to the drama.You would expect the film to be gripping but this one is just a dull bore. All you wait for is the end and that takes too long to come. As the plot doesnt move, you keep listening to a song called "Bebasi" with long shots of the yacht and human beings floating around it.There is not one reason why I would recommend you watching a film like Warning. Somewhere around the interval, the dog drifts away from the group and returns right at the end, to miss all the drama..he is one lucky dog!

Firstly, all of them underwent fitness training to tone their bodies. Since the setting of the film is at sea and most scenes involve them wearing only their swimwear, the cast had to be in really good shape. Anubhav had very distinct ideas of what each character had to look like, and he ensured that the details were perfect down to a T.
She looked quite fresh and lovely at the press meet in a gorgeous yellow dress with lace trimmings on the hem and also on the neckline. Her navy pointy patent pumps seemed to be a tribute to the theme of the film.
Movies about killer animals are rare in Bollywood, and that lack of familiarity with this particular sub-genre of horror movies is evident in Warning. The movie contains many of the elements required for a successful horror film, but they are organized so inexpertly that Warning is devoid of dramatic tension and scares.
So if you thought this is Indian Jaws you are wrong. You are also wrong if you think this must be Indian Piranha. There aren't even lots of legs and bikinis in this film for the men who are looking for voyeuristic pleasure. So what exactly is Warning 3D? Nothing but a major yawn-fest.
Director Gurmmeet Singh didn't really have any need to make this film for there isn't any story at all. The twist in the tale which leads to major events or rather un-events is so juvenile that you wonder whether this is some sort of children's tale.

So what can we make of the title Warning? There is no real warnings given out in the movie, and so we can conclude that it is more about being warned about those people who shall intentionally give negative reviews about this movie. Warning is a tale of survival which was never tried in Bollywood, and it has to appreciated for the efforts so that some better and original ideas shall come up later. We have approved Go Goa Gone, and it is time we give scope for the other genres which are unknown to this part of the world. This is the time to get rid of the stupid masala action movies, adult comedy entertainers and ridiculous romantic retardness and grow up to variety which needs some imitation in the beginning which can later be developed into original ideas. It is shot in an amazing manner underwater and there is suspense built slowly and steadily, and it has done its duty to the original. Yes, we can blame its predictability, and most of us know the story already, but this movie is a welcome change as well as welcoming change, and if we deny it the right to be a success, we bombard ourselves with typical romantic bullshit, adult comedy and masala action, and in a few years, we will have only ourselves to blame for nonstop nonsense.
