Hi,I am unable to launch the SQL Developer on my MS Windows 7 pro 32 bit OS.The sequence I followed before launching the SQL Developer:Downloaded Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2010 file "vcredist" for Windows 7 x86 OS since I could not able to install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. Hope it requires Service Pack 1. My OS does not have SP1.Downloaded and installed jdk 8 (along with the jre1.8.0.201) in C:\\Program files\java\jdk1.8.0_201 folderDownloaded and extracted the "SQL developer" and saved in D:\ folderCopy the msvcr100.dll from "C:\\Program files\java\jdk1.8.0_201\bin" and paste it in to the folder "D:\\SQLDeveloper\SQLDeveloper\bin"after completing these steps, I double clicked the D:\\SQLDeveloper\SQL Developer.exe file. At the first run, it asked the JVM path. I given the path as "C:\\Program files\java\jdk1.8.0_201". It said "Could not find the path JVM". After that nothing happens. If I delete the SQLDeveloper folder from ...App path\roaming\.., and run the SQLDeveloper.exe it asks the JVM Path. Then nothing happens. When I see on the start-up manager, it shows that SQLDeveloper.exe is running. But no API is launched.My OS: MS Windows 7 pro 32 bit system (No SP1 installed or updated)SQL Developer: 21.2.1vcredist_x86jdk1.8.0_201jre1.8.0_201Any help to resolve the issue will be highly appreciated.advance thanks
Search for the file msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll, and rename both the files.Don't delete the files. If the Visual C++ redistributable (vcredist_x86.exe) package fails to install, you can rename the files back.
Vcredist X32.exe Windows 7l
Double click the downloaded Visual C++ redistributable (vcredist_x86.exe)package to install it. After the installation completes, check that msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll files are installed back. Once confirmed, you can delete the files that you renamed in step 3.Do not delete the latest installed msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll files.
i was having the same problem as you guys. I tried all of the solutions in this thread nothing worked then i downloaded and installed windows sp 1(different packages depending upon your OS and architecture 64 or 32) install it, restart pc, uninstall all vc++ runtimes, restart pc, install vc++ 2015 and it will work.
The Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 can be downloaded from the Microsoft website. The appropriate file vcredist_x86.exe (32-bit version) or vcredist_x64.exe (64-bit version) must be selected and downloaded. The command line to perform its install silently without reboot is:
Common for the following program files;httpd.exe
php.exe
skype.exe
DComPerm.exe
flexsim.exe
Winfile.ex
UplayService.exe
Plex Media Server.exe
otvdm.exe
Piriform.exe
Proxy.exe
AccelerometerSt.exe
AUEPUC.exe
php-cgi.exe
Gsi.exe
EoCApp.exe
HITMAN2.exe
The solution to this problem is to replace the missing dll file where the program can find it.This can be accomplished in many ways;Downloading only the needed file (Manually or using the DLL-Files.com CLIENT)
Re-installing the program giving you this error message
Installing (or repairing) Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015/2017/2019
To install the VCRUNTIME140.dll to default windows folder using the DLL-Files.com CLIENT, begin by starting the CLIENT.Type "VCRUNTIME140.dll" in the search input and click "Search for DLL file".Select VCRUNTIME140.dll in the search results.Click "Install".To manually replace VCRUNTIME140.dll, begin by downloading a suitable version from this page.Open the zip-file you downloaded from DLL-files.com .Extract the DLL-file to a known location on your computer.After extracting your zip-file, place the extracted DLL-file in the directory of the program that is requesting the file. Ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Skype for Desktop\VCRUNTIME140.dllEven if using a 64bit Windows system, many programs are still 32bit.32bit programs uses 32bit dll files, 64bit programs uses 64bit dll files.On a 64bit Windows system, programs installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\ are most likely 32bit, and programs installed in C:\Program Files\ are most likely 64bit.Make sure to use a 32bit DLL-file for a 32bit program, and a 64bit DLL-file for a 64bit program. Failure to do so will likely result in a 0xc000007b error.Re-start your computer, and try to recreate the error to see if it has been resolved.If placing the dll file in the program folder does not help, place a copy of the file in Windows default dll directory.On a 64bit version of Windows, the default folder for 32bit DLL-files is C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ , and for 64bit dll-files C:\Windows\System32\ .Make sure to overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).Re-start your computer, and try to recreate the error to see if it has been resolved.If your issue has not been resolved by these suggestions, you might need to re-install the Microsoft visual C++ Redistributable packages, which can be found at the Microsoft support page;Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x86 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 x64 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x86 Redistributable
Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 x64 Redistributable
x86 for 32bit, x64 for 64bit. If using a 64bit Windows, install both.
Table 1 lists the files and adapter dependencies involved in a 1-Wire Drivers custom installation. Each file is described, along with the file's destination directory on the customer's computer. Note that variables are used to represent the destination directories, as those directories can differ for each Microsoft installation. The default windows\system directory, for example, depends on the operating system used (i.e., C:\windows\system32 or C:\winnt\system32). These system directories are represented in Table 1 as %SYS%. The application directory to which the 1-Wire application is copied is represented by %APP%. Table 2 lists the appropriate registry entries to complete a custom installation.
If you want to install Moodle and you get the msvcp110.dll missing file error, just go to -es/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679 and install the vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe, as described in
