Developer Comments: The Piercing Attack tooltip now will display its pierce chance value in the tooltip. The quantity value of throwing weapons, ammo, and tome item tooltips will now always show the total amount to be clearer for players. Also, consistency improvements have been made to existing item modifier tooltips so that it is clearer that they can stack with themselves.

This is something of a recurring theme throughout Resurrected. While it goes to great lengths to update D2, it doesn't always feel like it went far enough. On one hand, there are some great accessibility features in the remake for seeing and hearing impaired players like sound mixing customization, low vision mode, and colorblind mode (disabled during the alpha test). On the other hand, a lot of the game's archaic systems and mechanics have been left intact. You can't toggle on show items, for example, which means you have to constantly tap Alt to see the loot that has dropped. This makes it easy to accidentally miss items on the ground. You can toggle on Show Items in D3, so I'm surprised that isn't a feature here.

Magic quality armor are always shown in blue text. In addition to their standard attributes, they gain bonus properties that make them better than normal items. Such extra properties appear on the details of the item as prefixes and suffixes.

Rare quality armor are always shown in yellow text. They are similar to Magic items, but they have more bonus properties. These are often upgrades for your character when they drop. You can often get them from slaying the bosses.

Set quality armor are always shown in green text. In addition to their bonus attributes, they have synergy with other items belonging to the same set. The number of bonus properties increases the more items you wear from the same set. And finally, if you wear all the set items, there is a large bonus plus a magical reward, like a change in the appearance of your character.

Normal (white), magical (blue) and rare (yellow) relics will always show the name of one of the following four General Skills with a number listed beside it. The number indicates how many skill points from the relic will be added to a player's statistics for that particular skill. The following skills are offered upon those relics:

There are many household items that are toxic to animals, including to our dogs. Many of the laundry detergents used within the home are toxic to dogs; however, they do not always show up on lists of cleaners that are poisonous. Ionic surfactants and anionic surfactants are in these products, and even when they are ingested in small quantities the dog can become sick. The dog will have several different symptoms depending on the detergent ingested, as well as the amount ingested. The first signs are usually upset stomach and drooling from the mouth. An item that doesn't often show up on lists of household products toxic to pets is laundry detergent. But it should, because most detergents and soaps contain ionic and anionic surfactants. When ingested in small amounts, these chemicals can cause GI upset in a pet, such as excessive drooling, vomiting or diarrhea.

Updated April 27, 2022 by Erik Petrovich: Since the release of Binding of Isaac Repentance mods have been slowly getting updated to work with the current (and theoretically final) build of the game. The most well-known mods from Binding of Isaac versions past are finally available again, but a new wave of modders have some ideas of their own. Now, players can drive a car in Binding of Isaac to mow down the monstrosities of the basement and beyond, and a ton of custom animation packs constantly show up on the game's official Workshop page. As always, when trying to mod Isaac Repentance, keep in mind that many still do not work as they haven't been updated in years. For the most part, the mods listed below will work just fine with the new DLC.

One of the most surprisingly useful items in The Binding of Isaac is the Dream Catcher. This item changes the introductory cutscene for each level of the basement, showing both the item in the treasure rooms and the boss Isaac will face on the floor to come. More often than not, players accidentally skip this altered cutscene thanks to muscle memory.
